TWO SMOOTHIE RECIPES

It’s been a hot couple of days in Melbourne 43 degrees – 106 Farenheit so hydration is the key, especially when you have little ones stuck inside who are bored and hungry.

Here are two smoothie recipes I have made today with lots of hidden goodness to please the taste buds of a few who aren’t a fan of things green at the moment.

DAIRY FREE RASPBERRY RIPPLE SMOOTHIE

1 cup soy milk or almond milk

1/2 cup coconut yoghurt

1/4 cup muesli

1 cup frozen raspberries

1/2 of a frozen banana

1 teaspoon chia seeds

1 teaspoon of vanilla paste

Combine all in a blender and blitz until smooth. Serve in your favourite glass with your favourite toppings

MINT, PINEAPPLE, CELERY, APPLE & COCONUT WATER SLUSHIE

1 cup cold coconut water

1 stick of celery

1 Granny Smith apple cut and deseeded

1/2 bunch mint

1 cup frozen pineapple pieces

1/2 cup ice

Place all into a blender and blend until smooth.
